SmartTalent Staffing is looking to hire a detail-orientated CAD Drafter for a security systems supplier in Tukwila, WA. Ideal candidate will be motivated to work full time and have an Associate degree or higher in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field (details below).

PAY : $25 - $35

TITLE & SHIFT : CAD Drafter, Day Shift

LOCATION : Tukwila, WA

SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm

ABOUT THE JOB:

In this role, you will be responsible for producing precise technical drawings and plans that are critical to the design and manufacturing processes. Your expertise in CAD software will ensure that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

JOB DUTIES:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models based on engineering specifications and project requirements. 
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure design integrity and adherence to project timelines
• Review and modify existing drawings to accommodate changes and improvements.
• Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and revisions to ensure easy retrieval and reference.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on design feasibility and constructability.
• Adhere to industry standards and best practices in drafting and design.
• Other duties may also be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Good attendance is an absolute must!

· Associate degree or higher in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field. 

· Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools).

· Strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles.

· Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software

· Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards. 

· 1-3 years of experience in drafting or design within relevant industries.

· Advanced skills in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.

· Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) concepts

· Understanding of design software for project management and collaboration.
