Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. The Events Assistant will support the planning and execution of a wide range of events by managing logistics, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with excellent organizational skills and a passion for event planning.
Responsibilities
Assist in the coordination and execution of events from concept to completion
Manage event timelines, schedules, and checklists
Support vendor communications, bookings, and logistics
Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces
Monitor event budgets and assist with expense tracking
Greet and assist guests during events, ensuring a professional and hospitable atmosphere
Handle last-minute issues or changes efficiently
Maintain accurate records and provide post-event reports
Qualifications
Previous experience in event coordination, hospitality, or administrative support
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
