Job Description

US Trades is currently seeking a Delaware Licensed Electrician to join our team for a conveyor system installation at a high-volume postal carrier facility. This role requires experience in rigid conduit installation, motor controls, power distribution , and all aspects of electrical work related to complex material handling systems. The ideal candidate is licensed in the state of Delaware and has experience working in fast-paced industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and bend rigid conduit (EMT, GRC) to precise measurements and specifications
• Pull and terminate wiring for motor controls, sensors, and power panels
• Install and troubleshoot power distribution systems to support conveyor equipment
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation plans
• Work closely with project managers, mechanical crews, and other electricians to coordinate layout and sequencing
• Perform all work in accordance with the NEC (National Electrical Code) and site-specific safety standards
• Conduct testing and assist with system startup and commissioning activities
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed tasks and materials used
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Active Delaware Journeyman or Master Electrician License – required
• 5+ years of industrial or commercial electrical experience
• Strong experience in rigid conduit bending, motor controls, and power distribution
• Ability to read electrical schematics and layout drawings
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
• Experience working on conveyor or material handling systems is a strong plus
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, lifts, or in elevated areas
• Must be reliable, safety-minded, and a strong communicator
