We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Canandaigua, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment, utilizing your expertise in mechanical troubleshooting, PLC systems, and conveyor systems. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues effectively and efficiently.
• Program and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) to enhance operational efficiency.
• Inspect and repair conveyor systems to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with a focus on efficiency.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), particularly Allen Bradley and Siemens.
• Familiarity with conveyor systems and their maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
