IOP Phlebotomist Job Description We are seeking a skilled phlebotomist to join our team in Mesa. You will be responsible for drawing patients' blood and performing specimen processing in a doctor's office setting. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the accurate collection, receipt, and preparation of biological specimens for analytical testing. Responsibilities + Collect and receive biological specimens and ensure their proper entry into the company's computer system. + Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute them to the appropriate analytical area. + Perform specified analytical testing as assigned. + Follow the guidelines of the Code of Conduct in all work-related activities. Essential Skills + Proficiency in blood draw and specimen collection. + Experience in laboratory and phlebotomy practices. + Competence in specimen processing and patient care. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 2-3 years of prior phlebotomy experience is required. + Must be bilingual in English and Spanish. + GED or High School Diploma required. Work Environment This part-time position is located at 1705 W Main St, Mesa, AZ. Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 3 PM to 7 PM and Friday from 2 PM to 6 PM or 9230 E. Main St. Mesa, AZ 85207 M-F 7a-4p or 5131 E. Southern Ave Mesa, AZ 85206 M-F 8a-5p. The phlebotomist will work closely with medical assistants in a professional medical office setting. The organization offers opportunities for growth, including a career ladder to advance to a Phlebotomy Technician 2 role with a 4% pay increase after six months. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
