Job Description

Job Title: Enterprise Physical Security Administrator

Location : Houston (Katy Freeway) or Canonsburg, PA
Schedule : Hybrid (Combination of in-office and work from home)

  • Work from Home : Mondays and Fridays

  • In-office : Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays

  • Hours : 8 AM to 5 PM local time

Job Overview :

The Enterprise Physical Security Administrator will be responsible for the development, implementation, coordination, maintenance, and monitoring of enterprise-wide physical security and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to protect employees, information, assets, and the company's reputation.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Help Desk Ticketing : Review, prioritize, and respond to facility requests submitted through the automated Help Desk system.

  • Badge and Site Access Management : Process various types of badges and site access requests, including taking pictures, creating, printing, shipping, and distributing badges to employees and customers.

  • Physical Security Supplies Management : Manage the inventory of physical security supplies (keys, badge holders, HID cards, printer ribbons, etc.).

  • Facility Access Management : Oversee access for offices, data centers, POPs, huts, and Colo facilities.

  • Reporting : Run daily access system reports for managers and ensure compliance with company standards.

  • Incident Tracking and Resolution : Track and report on access incidents and troubleshoot access control systems, escalating to vendors when necessary.

  • Preventive Maintenance and Repairs : Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs for CCTV and access control systems with internal teams and vendors.

  • User Access Management : Review and grant local users access to open doors remotely, using appropriate security protocols.

Job Knowledge and Skills :
  • Proficient Computer Skills : Experience working with office security equipment, badge printers, and various software applications, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, CRM, Door Access systems, CCTV software, etc.

  • Organizational Skills : Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.

  • Attention to Detail : Ability to maintain accurate records and manage security systems with a keen eye for detail.

  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills : Strong communication skills for working with internal teams, vendors, and employees.

  • Network Troubleshooting : Ability to troubleshoot access control network issues.

  • Customer Service Skills : Provide high-quality support to internal customers, addressing issues and providing solutions.

  • Ability to Work Independently : Capability to handle tasks with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience :
  • Preferred Education : College experience is preferred.

  • Minimum Education : High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Experience : 3 to 7 years of related experience in physical security administration or related fields.

Additional Details :
  • Hybrid Schedule : Set schedule with no week-to-week changes (Work from home on Monday and Friday, office on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
