Description Lead a dynamic team on the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology unit at UCLA Mattel's Children's hospital. As an APP supervisor on this service, you can make a difference in our patient and families lives. The APP Supervisor will be responsible for developing a new team of APP providers that will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The APP also participates in interdisciplinary and clinical rounds, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals. Salary range: $140,200- $331,800/annually Qualifications + Degree in PA program-required + CA PA License- required + BLS Certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association-required + PALS Certification from American Heart Association-required + National Board Certification as PA-required + NPI#,DEA#, Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES-required + 3 years clinical experience as an inpatient pediatric hematology/oncology APP - required + 2 years leadership experience -preferred + Ability to utilize excel, word and other software programs-required + Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel-required + Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction-required + Ability to set priorities-required + Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence-required + Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner-required UCLA Health welcomes all individuals, without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin or disabilities, and we proudly look to each person's unique achievements and experiences to further set us apart.
