As a Program Manager at VusionGroup, you will play a pivotal role in leading key strategic programs for our customers in the Americas You will manage cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of customer solutions and services, driving optimal return on investment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Management: Lead collaboration with cross-functional and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of strategic programs, aligning with the goals of top-tier customers. 
  • Program Leadership: Oversee the program team, ensuring that customer solutions and services are delivered on schedule and meet specifications, maximizing ROI for VusionGroup.
  • Program Development: Define program scope, deliverables, resource requirements, and create a comprehensive program plan that includes risk management strategies, budgeting, and performance reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Task Management: Create detailed task assignments and activate escalation protocols as needed to address issues proactively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Legal teams to exceed customer expectations and achieve business objectives.
  • Risk Management: Take the lead in initial risk assessments and mitigation planning, continuously monitoring risks throughout the program lifecycle to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Budget Accountability: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with established business goals and objectives.
  • Lessons Learned: Implement a process for capturing and analyzing lessons learned from each program, conducting internal reviews with the delivery team to foster continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Program Manager position, preferably working directly with customers.
    • Demonstrated success in managing complex, cross-functional programs from initiation through completion.
  • Skills:  
    • Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
    • Experience supporting or leading teams that include technical staff.
    • Self-motivated and capable of managing cross-functional teams with minimal supervision.
    • Experience contributing to or managing programs in a customer-facing environment.
    • Solid process management and organizational skills.
    • Skilled in reporting and data collection to support decision-making and executive updates.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams.
    • Experience with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools such as SmartSheet or similar platforms.
    • Fluent in Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with bilingual or Spanish-speaking teams and clients.
  • Abilities:  
    • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner. 
    • Ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines and work within a virtual global team environment. 
    • Has the ability to manage programs within a fast-paced innovative / R&D environment/business.
    • Ability to travel as needed: 20% target.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related field.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a nice to have.
