What You’re Applying For:

Edmunds is looking for a results-oriented, highly skilled SEM (paid search) performance marketing manager to lead paid search campaign strategy. You will work alongside a cross-functional team to help drive growth for your assigned portfolios. Your goal will be to drive revenue growth while maximizing return on investment and meeting business objectives for our Appraisals and Auto Manufacturer marketing initiatives through innovative and data-driven SEM strategies. And, you are responsible for developing testing ideas, day-to-day campaign management, developing data-driven insights, marketing strategy and execution across various platforms (GoogleAds, BingAds and other display advertising channels). This highly cross-functional role collaborates with product, SEO, and business unit teams.

What You’ll Do :

  • Responsible for revenue growth while maximizing ROI through paid search (GoogleAds, BingAds) and display advertising programs
  • Develop, test and implement digital marketing strategies to drive revenue growth individually and as a team
  • Directly manage performance marketing campaigns in GoogleAds, BingAds (e.g., SEM, DemandGen, PMAX) and Display Advertising Networks
    • Manage day-to-day campaign optimizations, alongside channel marketing managers, to ensure campaigns are driving optimal results for traffic growth
    • Launch and monitor campaign creative, keyword lists, audiences and geo targets to improve KPIs
    • Analyze performance metrics to determine campaign effectiveness and provide recommendations as necessary
    • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, ad copy and landing page AB tests to identify opportunities
  • Report on campaign performance and develop data-driven insights with reports from Tableau, Databricks, GoogleSheets, GoogleAds, Bing Ads reports and Google Analytics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Design, Product Management, Brand Marketing and Analytics) and marketing managers to develop and implement paid media strategies to meet business goals and improve user experience
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in digital marketing and performance marketing strategies

What You Need :

  • Proven track record for driving revenue growth using SEM
  • 3-5 years of experience in directly managing SEM campaigns in GoogleAds and BingAds in an agency or corporate environment
  • Proficiency in using GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads Editor, product feeds, keyword research and analysis tools and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Google Sheets, Excel)
  • Advanced analytical and data interpretation skills using Microsoft Excel, Tableau and Google Sheets
  • Attention to detail, problem solver and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Bonus: Experience with display advertising and paid social marketing (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Instagram) a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

The compensation range for this position is $111,000-$141,000 per year. The base pay will take into account internal equity as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
