**SUMMARY**
As the **Senior Product Owner - Telematics Platform** , you will own and drive the roadmap, development, and delivery of our telematics platform. This platform plays a critical role in collecting, analyzing, and delivering real-time data on vehicle performance, driver behavior, fuel efficiency, maintenance, and more. You'll work closely with engineering, UX, and business teams to enhance platform functionality, improve user experience, and deliver data-driven insights that help fleet managers make smarter decisions.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
**Product Strategy & Roadmap**
+ Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the telematics platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
+ Prioritize platform features, enhancements, and technical improvements to maximize customer value and business impact.
+ Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging telematics technologies (e.g., IoT, AI, predictive maintenance) to keep the platform at the forefront of innovation.
**Platform Development & Delivery**
+ Collaborate with engineering, data science, and UX teams to design and deliver new telematics features, such as GPS tracking, geofencing, driver behavior monitoring, and fleet diagnostics.
+ Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to development, testing, launch, and post-launch optimization.
+ Write and refine user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria to guide Agile development teams.
+ Ensure the platform is scalable, reliable, and optimized for performance, with seamless data integration across devices and systems.
**Stakeholder Engagement & Communication**
+ Act as the key liaison between internal stakeholders, customers, and technical teams to ensure a shared understanding of product goals and priorities.
+ Regularly engage with fleet managers, drivers, and other users to gather feedback, identify pain points, and drive continuous product improvement.
+ Present product updates, key metrics, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
**Data & Insights Innovation**
+ Drive the integration of advanced data analytics and AI capabilities into the telematics platform to deliver actionable insights, such as predictive maintenance alerts, fuel optimization recommendations, and risk scoring.
+ Support the development of customizable dashboards, real-time alerts, and automated reports to enhance the user experience.
+ Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
**ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**

**EDUCATION**
Bachelor's degree Business Administration, Supply Chain, Computer Science or equivalent.
Master's degree MBA, Supply Chain, Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
**EXPERIENCE**
+ 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, ideally with telematics, IoT, or fleet management products.
+ Deep understanding of telematics technology, including GPS tracking, vehicle diagnostics, sensor integration, and data analytics.
+ Proven experience leading Agile product development teams and managing complex product backlogs.
+ Strong technical acumen, with the ability to work closely with engineering teams and understand software architecture, APIs, and data pipelines.
+ Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
+ Data-driven mindset, with experience leveraging data insights to inform product strategy and decision-making.
**SKILLS**
+ Familiarity with AI/ML applications in telematics, such as predictive maintenance, route optimization, and driver behavior analysis.
+ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and telematics-related data protocols (e.g., CAN bus, OBD-II).
+ Certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe PO/PM) or telematics technology.
+ Knowledge of fleet management industry challenges, regulations, and best practices.

**Compensation Information** :
The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:
