P ATH BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE 

TITLE:  Counselor, Outpatient Behavioral Health 

RESPONSIBLE TO:  Regional Director

LOCATION:

WORK AREA:  In school setting

As a Counselor, you'll play a key role in guiding children and adolescents through their mental health, developmental, and substance use challenges. Our goal? Minimum Qualifications

1. Perform each essential function satisfactorily
2. Self motivated and able to make quality ethical decisions independent of supervisor when necessary
3. Ability to research new and current information using available technologies
4. Entry level knowledge of multiple modalities of treatment
5. Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
6. Possess basic computer skills including E-mail, Word, and Excel

  Credentials and Academic Requirements

1. BSW with LSW, MA Counseling, MA with LPC, MSW, MSW with LCSW, LSW or LGSW, LCDCII, LCDCIII
2. Master’s degree with licensure preferred
3. MSW in social work preferred
4.  MA in Counseling or Psychology acceptable
5.  BSW with five years of experience accepted in lieu of master's

Other

1. Must obtain clearance with the WV Cares background check
2. Valid Ohio/Kentucky/West Virginia drivers license indication individual is at least 21 years of age
3. Personal automobile insurance
