MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in communications, education, instructional systems, or psychology and one (1) year of professional experience in training, education, event planning or staff development.
A master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in communications, education, instructional systems, or psychology.
Professional or nonprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
Requires possession of a valid Class E driver license.

JOB DUTIES:
Assists in planning and implementing seminars and workshops to be included in the training programs in the theory and practical application of a variety of treatment and services modalities. Prepares lesson plans, program guides and evaluation tools.
Conducts formal in-person and virtual classroom instruction, seminars, workshops and training courses as facilitator and/or trainer. This may include planning, logistics, set-up, etc.
Assists in conducting needs assessments, gap analyses, surveys, competency assessments and performance assessments. Analyzes data from assessments to provide information and/or recommendations.
Acts as back-up for employee enrollments and troubleshooting calls with the department Learning Management System.
Creates training support materials and activities based on research and industry trends which include, but are not limited to, certificates, flyers, folders, presentations, online course content, booklets.
Conducts necessary research in association with the creation and procurement of training materials. Distributes materials and manages subsequent communication.Participates in staff conferences and curricula development to develop and improve training programs.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
